It’s a question that I hear pretty much every week. Can you help me feel better? And what people really mean is “can you help me feel less, because “I don’t like this experience of my body. I don’t like that is hurts, I don’t like how that makes me feel, I feel useless, I feel helpless, I don’t know what to do and I don’t like that either.. but you can help me – can’t you?”

I’m sure you recognize that, because we have all been there at some point in our life.

So what does feeling better really mean?

This short video was recorded for one of my short courses, but whether you do the course or not, it asks excellent questions that I believe are really good to reflect on at anytime you catch yourself feeling helpless or frustrated.

Because the way to feel better is often through learning to get better at feeling, because then we listen a lot earlier to our body and to all the messages it’s sending us, and then we rarely hit the helpless, struggling, suffering that so many people accept as part of daily living…
